8 members from SK St. Joseph who have met the necessary criteria requirement pertaining to the ITF Black Belt rules and regulation received their international black belt certificates recently. During the ceremony the Headmistress congratulated 8 recipients for their promotion and also urged members to continue to train hard for a higher goal. She added students should participate in this healthy activity, Rakan Wajadiri the original Korean martial art of self-defense, Taekwon-Do ITF.
Among those who attended the ceremony were ITF TaeKwon-Do Sarawak Chief Instructor Master Johnny Chai and coach Mr. Lawrence Chai. The certificate issued by International TeaKwon-Do Federation and signatory by the president Professor Dr. Chang Ung who is also the International Olympic council committee member.
伍道館砂拉越跆拳道協會ITF目前在圣约瑟小学成功的舉辦了領發國際黑帶文憑典禮. 該協會也邀請了楊丽萍校長領發些文憑. 校長致辞上也鼓励學生们多参以此项正統青年之友跆拳道ITF课程有益于身心健康与防身自卫. 總教練蔡明樺表示八名黑帶學員必須參加由協會所舉辦的基本黑帶課程,初級助教課程,考試,示范表演,基本栽判与籌辦州級賽枝術和黑帶套拳.這國際黑帶文憑是由國際跆拳道聯盟世界總部主席兼國際奧林匹克運動會的委員ChangUng教授簽發.
