Inaugural ceremony of the TaeKwon-Do Holy Center was held on April 20, 2012 on the spot which was newly built in Chongchun Street, Pyongyang, DPRK. It covers an area of about 12,000 square meters and has TaeKwon-Do History Rooms, Knowledge dissemination Room, Training halls, Room for international conference, Scientific Research Institute and adequate welfare service facilities of high level.
Under the deep concern and powerful support of the DPRK Government the Korean Constructors mas a great achievement of completing gigantic scale of construction work in a short span of time not more than 2 year.
Some delegation members from Czech Republic, Russia, Belaruss and China including GM Leong Wai Meng , ITF Vice President who visited Pyongyang in mid April Planted some trees around the center to commemorate its completion.
TaeKwon-Do Holy Center will be important base for the diffusion, propaganda, scientific technique progress of original TaeKwon-Do.
